Payment is required in advance or at the time of service. Cash or Paypal are the two options I offer.   

Payments (for services below) by credit card, debit card, or Paypal accounts can be made on the Payment link and are due 24 hours in advance of a session (so I can check this on-line prior to meeting clients at my "non-wired" office). Cash can be paid at the session.   

 Counseling Rates: 

$80 per 50-minute individual or family/couple counseling session 

$25 per 60 minute group session

For Individual Counseling (50 min. session)~ Standard Rate = $80

4 sessions 15% off (savings of $44.00) = $272.00 (or $68.00/session) 

8 sessions 20% off (savings of $120.00) = $512.00 (or $64.00/session)

12 sessions 25% off (savings of $228.00) = $720.00 (or $60.00/session)         

For Couples/Family Counseling (60-75 min. session)~ Standard Rate = $100

4 sessions 15% off (savings of $60.00) = $340.00 (or $85.00/session) 

8 sessions 20% off (savings of $160.00) = $640.00  (or $80.00/session)

12 sessions 25% off (savings of $300.00) = $900.00 (or $75.00/session)  

* No refunds on packages are allowed. Packages expire one year from the date they're purchased.

** Lasting change typically takes a minimum of 90 days and packages motivate clients to stick with therapy.

Substance Abuse/Dependence & Mental Health Functioning Evaluation Rate:

$175 for 90 minute 1:1 evaluation + 90 minutes of scoring instruments, writing summary of findings and recommendations, and communicating by telephone with collateral contacts (ex. family, P.O., county, school, etc.) about the evaluation- if referral source requires I share the report or Client requests in writing that I share findings with others.

 Insurance/EAP:
  * I am a provider for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, MHN, Multiplan, and United Behavioral Health.

* I am on the provider list for Mines and Associates and Sand Creek EAP and managed care mental health services. 

* I am also a provider for the Second Wind Fund (for uninsured & underinsured youth).

Once we have set up an appointment, you must speak with my insurance biller, Regina Ponton to set up an account: 303-487-4965   If your account is not set up by the time of your first session, you will be charged the full rate (see above).

When you call Regina, some questions to ask are~ 1. What is my co-pay? (if insurance)  2. How many sessions is the EAP or insurance company allowing me to have this calendar year?  

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your session for any reason, contact me at 720-432-5262 (leave a voice mail) at least 24 hours in advance and you will not be charged for the session.

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. 

Communication: Monday-Friday
9am-9pm; If you hear my voice mail, please leave a message and I will
return your call within 48 hours. Please indicate if it's an emergency
& contact emergency personnel while waiting for my return call.

Current clients can have 10 minutes of therapeutic support via telephone (this
includes collatoral contacts approved by client, such as family
members, school personnel, work employer, probation officer, etc.). I
do not provide e-mail therapeutic support and cannot send or receive
text messages via my phone.

New clients can have one 10 minute telephone "consultation" in order to see if I am the right fit for his/her therapeutic needs.

Any communication needs beyond my free services
above will cost my regular counseling rate- $80/hour unless unless we
have agreed on a sliding scale rate. In addition to communicating by
phone, this might also include report writing or a letter on the
client's behalf.
